VOVOX expands its product range to include cables for digital signals
During the past years, we have caused a stir in the domain of analog signal transmission. During the 123rd AES Convention in New York, October 5th- 8th 2007, we will now present our new range of digital cables for the first time.
We are willing to rise to any challenge bringing us closer to the goal of perfect sound signal transmission. This goal is set for digital signal cables as well as for the rest of the VOVOX products. The concept behind the new cables is the same selection of high quality material as is used for the analog sound conductors. The cable’s optimized geometry guarantees correct impedance and accurate signal transmission. The result: Reliable data transmission with the lowest possible error rates and optimal sound quality.
The product range includes three types of cables:
VOVOX®link protect AD:
unbalanced, impedance 75 Ohm
VOVOX®link direct SD:
balanced, impedance 110 Ohm
VOVOX®mucolink direct SD:
8-channel cable, impedance 110 Ohm
The cables are available in lengths ranging from one to ten meters (3 to 33 ft), and are assembled with gold-plated RCA, BNC or XLR Neutrik connectors. Mucolink direct SD is, similarly to all other VOVOX multi-channel cables, assembled according to the customer’s requirements.
